Jodie is a Scottish song-writer, musician, actor, and theatre maker based in Ayrshire, Scotland with an HND in Performing Arts from Ayr College. She also graduated with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Rural Business Management from the University of Glasgow (at the SRUC campus).

Jodie is energised to create new, innovative performance, using theatre as a means of addressing unspoken yet significant issues within society.

She is a singer, guitarist, ukulele and piano player and is passionate about song-writing, using it as a more vulnerable and raw creative outlet. She has performed as a solo artist across various venues in Scotland, such as Room 2 Glasgow, The Hug and Pint, The Bungalow Paisley, and the DMC PLAZA.  She has gigged at numerous events including Celtic Connections, Vibration Festival, Knockengorroch Festival, Youth Beatz, and the Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival. 

Jodie released two singles in 2021, ‘Creepin’’ and ‘Glance’.

Jodie worked on various online projects in 2021, including her commission with Stage It, involving a BSL performance of three original tracks.  Later in 2021, she performed two original pieces in TXT ME: Cyber Showcase and Online Protest, organised by Siren Theatre Company and presented at Ayr Gaiety, which revolved around women or femme safety.
